After validation, we use a blend of manufacturing techniques to create, manufacture, and assemble the machinery in house in our manufacturing/fabrication shop. **Job description**

Our team is looking for someone who is comfortable working on a small team in a fast-paced work environment. You will support manufacturing efforts, prepare equipment to be shipped to customer facilities, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques and technologies. You will work closely with team members to build and assemble machinery. You will develop or use your existing skills to operate a variety of manufacturing tools. As you work with the team, you will have many opportunities to learn and develop your skill set. At FME we enjoy having people float to where they are best suited and what they enjoy doing. Currently, we are looking for a general labourer/shop hand. However, the opportunity for advancement is there if you would like to take it.

**Qualifications**
- Mechanically inclined mindset an asset
- Manufacturing & shop experience an asset
- Experience working with wood and hand tools an asset
- English language preferred

**Responsibilities**
- Support the manufacturing team in the assembly and production of automated machinery
- Preparing equipment for shipping and building crates
- Prepare parts orders and assembling components for equipment
- Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to safety procedures
- Work with shop foreman and fellow shop workers to prioritize work for projects
- Use hand tools including angle grinders, die grinders, bandsaws, drills, skill saws, etc.
- General shop cleaning and maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the proficient operation of basic hand and power tools
- A willingness to learn new techniques and support the rest of the manufacturing team

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
