**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and other construction workers on-site.
- Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to crew members, considering their skills and experience.
- Perform journeyman-level carpentry tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
- Build and install structures according to specifications while maintaining quality control throughout the process.
- Manage resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations on-site.
- Perform regular inspections of work completed by the team to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate progress and address any issues that arise.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve work-related problems, seeking assistance from supervisors or other trades as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter with a background in supervising others.
- Valid Journeyman Carpenter Certificate, The Red Seal endorsement and/or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control in all aspects of work.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus on project deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry is essential.
- Own vehicle/transportation required

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
