Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily building operations tasks including equipment inspections and mechanical system checks, building maintenance and repairs, and regular building surveillance tours.
- Maintain site cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Ensure that preventive maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with standards.
- Monitor and liaise with maintenance staff and subcontractors while they are onsite.
- Maintain an auditable water treatment program adhering to all approved parameters.
- Respond to service requests and emergencies.
- Complete accurate and detailed documentation as required on a regular basis.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System policies and actively participate in processes to ensure intended outputs.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks and common area improvements.
- Maintain and enhance customer service experience.
- Respond and attend to tenant requests.
- Strong attention to detail, with good analytical skills
- Able to perform snow removal, parkade clean up, (heavy) garbage removal, moving and lifting heavy appliances and similar items.

Maintenance Skills
- Drywall repair and preparation.
- Interior commercial painting and drywall experience.
- Basic plumbing skills.
- Basic electrical skills.
- Able to install and repair appliances.

Experience & Qualifications
- Valid 5th Class Power Engineers Certificate
- Minimum two years hands-on building operations experience
- Minimum of 2 years of building maintenance proficiency with residential properties.
- Experienced in HVAC and Building Automation Systems.
- General knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, pumps, closed loops system (hot water, glycol, cooling water).
- General knowledge of fire protection systems.
- General knowledge of emergency generator operations.
- Must be able to work after hours, on-call on a rotational schedule, including weekends and respond to emergency calls.
- Have a valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.
