Security Supervisor **Wage**: $27.00 per hour for Supervisor, $23.50 per hour for 2IC Reporting directly to the Security Manager, the Security Supervisor will: - Assist with all security operations on site. - Provide leadership to the team of security professionals on-site. - Ensure the site-specific operation procedures are up to date. - Ensure tasks are completed in an efficient manner. - Audit security work and interactions with customers on an ongoing basis. - Proactively mentor and train employees and provide regular feedback. - Assist with employee rewards and appreciation programs. - Help manage scheduling. - Operate applicable software and on-site equipment. - Ensure accurate and timely reporting. - Communicate with the site manager - Exercise good judgment and make decisions that benefit the customer and the property. - Become part of the team and make yourself a key part of the customer’s success. **What you should have**: - Valid BC Security License (AST, BST) - Valid OFA1 - Class 5 Driver's License - Conflict resolution training - Proven leadership and people management track record - Post-secondary degree or combination of relevant training/experience - Fluent in English (verbal and written) - Experience in providing exceptional customer service - Experience with handling emergency situations while remaining calm - Experience in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment JoinGuardteck Guardteck Security is a BC owned and operated security firm providing professional security services throughout Western Canada.
