Job Summary:

- Device Check-In and Check-Out:

- Greet customers as they arrive at the shop.
- Inspect and document the condition of customer devices (phones, tablets, etc.) upon check-in.
- Provide accurate repair estimates and timeframes.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of devices while in our care.
- Assist customers with retrieving their repaired devices.
- Sales and Cash Handling:

- Process sales transactions for accessories, parts, and services.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and issue receipts.
- Promote additional services and products to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organised cash register area.
- Phone and In-Person Customer Support:

- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Address customer inquiries, provide information, and schedule appointments.
- Assist walk-in customers with questions, concerns, and service requests.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanour at all times.
- Simple Phone Repairs (if qualified):

- Perform basic repairs such as screen replacements, battery replacements, and charging port repairs.
- Follow repair guidelines and safety protocols.
- Escalate complex repairs to our technicians.

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic knowledge of cell phone models and common issues.
- Ability to multitask and handle busy periods.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Technical repair skills (e.g., screen replacement) are a plus.

Schedule:

- This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
- Saturday availability is required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
