Newforma, a leading AEC product engineering company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist/Agile Coach to join our dynamic team. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist/Agile Coach, you will be responsible to help teams improve their process, streamline workflows, implement best practices, and facilitate Agile practices across our organization. Your expertise in Agile frameworks, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, data analysis and change management will be an asset in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring efficient project delivery. **Your responsibilities will be**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, streamline processes, and eliminate waste in various departments, including product development, UX, engineering, and customer support.
- Act as an Agile coach for all internal teams.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects, utilizing methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping to reduce development cycle time.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, gather feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Develop and deliver training programs on Agile practices, Lean Six Sigma principle, Value Stream Mapping and others to increase awareness and capability within the organization.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements, track key performance indicators, and report progress to management.
- Collaborate with the IT team to leverage technology solutions that support process automation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to continuous improvement, Agile/Scrum, and process optimization.
- Help new teams get up and running with their processes.
**What you will bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified ScrumMaster) are preferred.
- Proven experience (2 years) as a Continuous Improvement Specialist, Scrum Master, or similar role in SAAS business.
- Bilingualism (English and French): Fluent in English for effective communication and comprehension of all documentation; conversational proficiency in French preferred for interactions with bilingual team members and stakeholders.
- High Energy personality
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, with experience as a Scrum Master.
- Demonstrated success in leading and implementing process improvement initiatives, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using process mapping software, statistical analysis tools, and productivity software
- Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Aha, DevOps, and Jira to streamline and enhance project management and development processes.
- Knowledge of the AEC industry, including understanding of engineering and construction processes, is an asset, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
