**Purpose of Role**:
Kinross' Technical Services team is looking for a 12 -16 month intern to be a part of the Metallurgy Department.

**Responsibilities**:
The Analyst Intern, Metallurgy will assist the corporate metallurgy department in its duties such as:

- Assisting with studies, major projects, or operations support.
- Conducting technical research
- Data processing and writing technical documents Assist with document reviews and site visits.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 2nd or 3rd Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering program with an excellent academic record
- Lodgings in Toronto for the duration of the placement
- Knowledge of metallurgical testing methods and data interpretation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with little direction

**Skills**:

- Language skills in French, Arabic, Portuguese, or Spanish
- Experience working with culturally diverse teams
- Active extracurriculars
- Strong Excel skills, knowledge of advanced functions
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
