**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and serving. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers have a pleasant dining experience by maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter and dining area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A passion for food preparation and serving with attention to detail.

Pay: $15.35-$19.99 per hour
