District Manager Customer Installations

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
The primary purpose and function of the position is to ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the Onsite Plants in the Eastern Region of Canada: Ecolution VSA, HollyFrontier HPX, Irving VSA and AvCell VSA. The incumbent is responsible for coaching and leading the Plant Operators to guarantee the safety and quality of all such installations, in compliance with ALC’s standards. The incumbent is also considered the Facility Manager as per IMS.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implement ALMS: This position has the role of the IMS Facility Manager with the responsibility of implementing the ALMS system within the scope of the industrial activities
2. Supervises and develops team: Ensures that each member of the technical team receives ongoing training according to ALC standards regarding safety features, technical aspects of equipment and regulations. Encourages team members to seek information and resources to enhance their efficiency with customers and to demonstrate creativity and initiative. Ensures feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of each team member, and works with each person at the location to implement a development plan to increase performance and professional growth.
3. Is responsible for reliability, maintenance and projects: Monitors and supervises maintenance at AL sites. Develop and implement a reliability program. Manages projects and is required to be on site while construction and RFSR. Identifies contingencies and proposes adequate solutions when necessary. Makes sure that the work is completed under the rules and policies governed under IMS, while maintaining schedules and budgets. Continually analyzes the quality of work and is responsible to support Commercial group with customer visits when required by the client.
4. Plans and schedules preventive maintenance: Plans and schedules preventive maintenance inspections as per ALC contractual agreements. Is responsible for ensuring all sites have an annual maintenance completed for that site. Is responsible for following up any overdue maintenance and any actions coming from regularly performed maintenance.
5. Provides Technical Support: Is responsible for the safety and quality aspects of the design integrity of installations and in total compliance to ALC standards and all regulatory bodies. Is the person responsible for technical support to the field personnel
6. Manages the activity: Puts together and initiates the quality performance indicators and reviews the operating expenses of the team activities. Maintains files pertaining to equipment installed. Is responsible for the operations budget. Develops new means of increasing efficiency. Communicates on performance measures. Analyzes reports and determines the actions to be taken.
7. Process improvement: Works with his/her team as well as with multifunctional teams to continuously improve the work process. Promotes experience sharing. Coordinates the technical assistance provided by other groups. Establishes and maintains relations within his/her own group. Continuously analyzes the functioning of the activity, identifies causes of dysfunction and proposes corrective measures accordingly.

TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE
- Diploma : college diploma in mechanical or chemical engineering, bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience
- Training : quality system (ISO), safety, materials and products
- Knowledge : bilingualism when required, computer systems, MS Office, MS Project, oral and written communication skills
