This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and be fully involved in developing and creating the highest quality service provision for service users and their families / supporters. You will be important in establishing the service and then delivering care services to users in their own place of residence.

Your safety is our top priority. We will provide you with all the needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate training, as well as daily infection prevention screening of clients and workers, prior to visits, to help prevent exposures to COVID-19.

**Job Duties**

You will provide in-home support to an adult with physical disabilities who requires assistance with activities of daily living, that could include but are not limited to:

- bathing/showering
- dressing
- assistance with activities of daily living

Also, as a PSW you may help your client with tasks such as meal preparation and light household chores.

**Job Qualification**

Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program (PSW or Personal Support Worker) and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience needed. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle may be required for some home visits.
- Ability to follow detailed directions
- Willingness to learn and perform personal care
- Have good communication skills
- Be reliable and punctual
- Ability to have a flexible schedule

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
- Retention bonus

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence and a car to commute (required)
- PSW Certificate (required)
