We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Automotive Finance Manager** to oversee all aspects of our dealership’s financing and insurance operations. In this role, you will work closely with customers to secure financing options, present aftermarket products, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maximize profitability while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure competitive financing and leasing options for customers through established lender relationships.
- Present and sell aftermarket products such as extended warranties, GAP insurance, and maintenance plans.
- Prepare and finalize all sales-related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and lending partners.
- Collaborate with the sales team to structure deals that meet customer needs and dealership goals.
- Provide transparent, professional guidance to customers throughout the financing process.
- Monitor and achieve department metrics, including profitability, product penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, financing programs, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or similar role in a dealership setting.
- Strong understanding of automotive financing, leasing, and aftermarket products.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals with lenders and customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and team members.
- Proficiency with dealership management software (e.g., Dealertrack) and Microsoft Office.
- **Attributes**: Detail-oriented, organized, ethical, and customer-focused with a drive to exceed targets.
- **Licensing**: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
