Repair Assistant

**Compensation**:
$20.00 / hour

**Position Requirements**:

- You will be trained to assist in the testing and troubleshooting of audio and communication equipment.
- Learn and perform basic soldering tasks under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Conduct initial inspections and assessments of returned or damaged products.
- Support senior technicians in performing board-level repairs and component replacements.
- Document and report findings, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.

**Qualifications**:

- A strong interest in audio technology and electronics is an asset.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver's License that is maintained and in good standing is considered an asset.
- Ability to drive the company's van(s), while not negatively impacting our automobile insurance premiums is considered an asset.
- Bondable and/or able to produce/secure a Police Record Search Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
