Edmonton, Canada Summit Lock and Safe Full time

Summit Lock & Safe is seeking an experienced Journey Locksmith to fill a role in our growing organization.
- The position is physically demanding, there can be long periods of standing.
- Excellent hand-eye co-ordination.
- Above average attention to detail is required.
- Be able to read and interpret shop drawings and installation instructions.
- Ability to install various door hardware including but not limited to Exit devices, Automatic Door Operators, Locking Devices and Electric Strikes.
- Be willing to work in a fast paced environment and be able to go with the flow and adjust easily to changes in scheduling as required.
- Knowledge of Door and Frame Replacement.
- Knowledge of pinning High Security locks including but not limited to Abloy and Mul-T-Lock is preferred.
- A Valid Drivers Licence and Clean Driver's Abstract is Required. Work Van is supplied.
- Excellent Communication Skills, both Written and Verbal.
- Be a Team Player.

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Locksmith: 3 years (required)
- Repair, Maintenance & Installation of Door Hardware: 4 years (required)

- Locksmith Journeyman Certificate (preferred)
