Business Intelligence Platform Specialist

At our head office in beautiful Vancouver, BC, we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

Join our innovative team as a BI platform specialist.

What you’ll do:

- Work with Technology, Enterprise Risk & Compliance, and Data & Analytics teams to define and implement processes to govern and administrate the access, licensing, upgrades, governance, and maintenance of the BI platform.
- Work closely with active users of the BI platform to define, document and drive the adoption of new standards, processes and tools.
- Research functionality and technical configuration of the BI platform and provide recommendations for system improvements/upgrades.
- Provide pro-active monitoring, troubleshooting support and maintenance of the BI platform to ensure continued availability of the production environment.

What we’re looking for:

- 2+ years of experience in creating documentation and diagrams of processes, environments and workflow.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, data transformation, modeling techniques and Power BI DAX language.
