**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote active learning.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Monitor and document student progress, offering constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure consistency in educational approaches and objectives.
- Adapt teaching methods based on the diverse learning styles of students.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts to students.
- Familiarity with classroom settings and educational practices is a plus.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
- Ability to build rapport with students, creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for learning.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
