**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and provide guidance and advice for PSW placement students
- Liaison between LTC centres, students, and preceptors
- Keep accurate and complete records of student performance
- Monitor student progress
- Provide timely feedback to any issues or concerns raised by students or preceptors

**Qualification**:

- **Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Accredited by NACC**:

- Previous experience in teaching, and tutoring adult students is an asset
- Knowledge of the NACC's Personal Support Worker program curriculum is an asset

**Requirements**:

- Must have NACC certificate for PSW program
- Must present with a minimum of three (3) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in a long-term care/ hospital/ community/chronic care setting; and
- Meet Instructor qualification standards as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act, 2005
- Recent experience teaching in a formal education setting is an asset
- Ability to lead, supervise and evaluate students
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent problem-solving skills and solution-focused thinking skills
- Willingness and ability to travel to varied practicum training sites

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- PSW: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- NACC PSW Certification (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
