Early Childhood Educator/infant Toddler

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support individual learning needs, including children with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Incorporate bilingual instruction when applicable, utilizing language skills in English and French to enhance language development.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and other documentation as required.
- Use computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication with parents or guardians.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding assistant teachers or volunteers when necessary.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
- Formal education in early childhood education or a related field; certifications in childcare or teaching preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.
- Ability to operate computers and relevant software for documentation and communication purposes.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide young learners and team members.
- Compassionate, patient, creative, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse needs.
