**The Role** **What’s the job?** - Develop fundamental and practical expertise in CertainTeed products made of fibers. This can be glass or alternative fibers - Support plants for any quality or process issue - Track, ensure, and document compliance with our Canadian products - Develop new products - Support other functions and businesses (IP, purchasing, etc.) for any question related to products made of glass or wood fibers for the Canadian market Competencies: - Must possess a body of technical work commensurate with their years of experience including but not limited to demonstration of familiarity with statistical tools, data analysis, and drawing conclusions based on a collection of basic data and interpretation. - Must be able to translate technical and business requirements into objective and achievable plans and to independently design and implement work schedules to meet project goals. - Exhibit an outstanding ability to communicate project plans and status to all levels in the organization. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience; Master’s Degree with 3+ years’ experience or entry-level PhD in Material Science or other related technical discipline - Bilingual in English & French preferred - 2-3 years of industrial R&D experience preferred **About Us** Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products, CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
