Our mission is to transform industries and enhance daily life through intelligent innovation.About the RoleWe're seeking a highly motivated and innovative AI Research Scientist / Quantitative Strategist with a proven track record of academic publication to join our team. This is a unique role that combines advanced quantitative trading strategy development with cutting-edge AI research. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated trading algorithms while also exploring and identifying new AI-driven business opportunities for Afuva. A critical component of this role is the ability to conduct original research and publish findings in top-tier AI and finance journals and conferences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about both finance and AI, and who thrives in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement advanced quantitative trading strategies using machine learning and AI.Conduct in-depth research on AI applications in trading and other industries.Explore and identify new AI-driven business opportunities for Afuva.Design and execute experiments to test and validate AI models.Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.Stay up-to-date with the latest AI research and trends.Collaborate with the founder to define and execute the company's AI research strategy.Conduct original research and publish findings in top-tier AI and finance journals and conferences.Present research findings and recommendations to the team.Help to create prototypes, and proof of concepts, for new AI products.QualificationsAdvanced degree (Ph.D. strongly preferred) in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, physics, or a related field.Demonstrated ability to publish research in reputable AI and finance journals and conferences.Strong background in quantitative finance and algorithmic trading.Extensive experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for AI research and innovation.Experience with time series data is a plus.Experience in the financial markets is a plus.What We OfferOpportunity to lead cutting-edge AI research and build a publication portfolio in a dynamic startup environment.Access to significant resources and funding for AI research.Potential to shape the future direction of the company.Competitive compensation and benefits.A collaborative and innovative work culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
