**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Laurus is looking for an individual to join its fun and dynamic team of instructors for its new After School & Weekend Program The Youth Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging 60 minute lesson plans to a group of children in a variety of areas, such as sports, arts, science and more. Any expertise in a teachable extracurricular is welcome

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to)**
- Managing a group of 5-20 elementary aged kids
- Following lesson plans
- Creating and maintaining a fun and dynamic learning environment
- Creating and planning fun & engaging material
- Taking attendance
- Tracking student progress
- Problem solving
- Safety of children
- Communicating with parents
- Reporting directly to Program Coordinator

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledge and experience in one or multiple extracurricular activities
- A license or certificate to coach or teach (if required for that specific activity)
- Experience working with children

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
