Royal Vale Elementary Home & School Association (RVEHSA) is dedicated to enhancing the education and general well-being of the students at Royal Vale Elementary School.

RVEHSA independently plans and oversees the before and after school programs and child care for Royal Vale Elementary students.

We are seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to join our after school team.

We are seeking passionate, dedicated individuals who love working with children and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments to join our after school team in the role of After School Program Staff

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
- Oversee the school exit to ensure smooth departure of students at the end of the day
- Operate, monitor, and update HOPHOP, our online platform used to synchronize student departures with the estimated time of arrival of their parent/guardian.
- Welcome parents/guardians as they arrive for student pick up and communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Utilize multiple radios/channels to communicate with staff and supervisors.
- Ensure the physical and emotional safety and well-being of the children.
- Maintain rooms and play areas, ensuring group spaces are clean and organized.
- Assist with office-related tasks as needed.
- Develop and maintain regular, ongoing communication with supervisors and colleagues to meet the needs of the program and children.
- Fill out student behavior/injury reports and report back to the director.
- Set up and close down the departure area.

QUALIFICATIONS & ASSETS
- Past experience working at schools, camps, daycares
- CPR Certification

**Shifts available**:
**Monday-Friday**:
**Shifts available starting at 2:45pm and finishing 5:45**

Occasional 6-8 hour shifts available throughout the year on Pedagogical days when the school is closed and there is a full day of programming provided

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
