Peak Logistic Solutions has been offering 3PL brokerage services to clients across North America since 2010.

Our company is looking for a motivated freight broker to join our team. This is a remote position and is ideal for someone who is looking for growth in our dynamic industry. The Freight Broker will support customers logistics requirements and work with contracted trucking companies. This individual will use their customer focused attitude, communication ability and their trucking knowledge to ensure that client service expectations are met and exceeded.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with transportation management system, schedule carriers for shipping requirements as per booking instructions
- Deal directly with clients ensuring all freight requirements are looked after
- Negotiate rates with trucking companies and ensure effective communication to aid in the timely delivery of goods
- Prospect and call on new possible clients

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in International Trade & Transportation, Business Administration or equivalent or commensurate with experience
- 1-4 years experience working in logistics management setting is ideal along with 3PL experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Effective customer service skills and tenacity to work through issues until resolved for the customer
- Must be a self starter with ability to organize, multi task and follow through on commitments
- Understanding of the trucking industry and regulations is an asset
- Sales experience is preferred

This will be a remote working role with base salary of $45,000-$50,000CDN with attractive commission (on new accounts) and bonus structure. Earning potential is unlimited depending on sales success. Please note this is a 1 year term with potential for permanent hire.
