**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Super 8 Midland. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of hotel facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both guests and staff. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining our hotel's reputation for quality.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests to resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs as needed.
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior maintenance staff.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics is essential.
- Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising others preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
