Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in using various tools and equipment. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers while ensuring their vehicles are in optimal condition. This Team is supported by Advisors who sell and a Manager who is also a Tech and gets that Hours are the key to technician success in a shop with a good mix of Customer Internal and Warranty.
The Candiates will be Driven and a professional in thier field who cares not only about his career choice but understands that a great team is what drives overall success
This is a Flat Rate position with a 3 tier pay system/Bonus. No Guaranteed hours No Straight Time Why? because we dont need it If you are Driven , can provide quality repairs and diagnostics and thrive in a fun team enviorment you should reach out to us
This is for experienced automotive technicians , However we would encourage 3rd or 4th year apprentices to submit your resume or reach out to our Service Manager
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Execute automotive repairs including engine work, transmission repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively and safely.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly.
- Assist with assembly tasks as required during vehicle repairs or maintenance projects.
- Engage in heavy lifting as necessary for various automotive components.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is required, with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
