**Job Title: Service Technician I (Service Desk)**

**Location**: Calgary, Alberta (Hybrid)**Company**: P5 Ventures**Type**: Full-Time, Permanent

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests, providing initial triage and diagnostics for client issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 IT issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians as needed.
- Provide deskside support for clients when required.
- Assist with hardware setup, software installations, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Maintain and update documentation related to common issues, resolutions, and internal processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring they are informed about ticket progress and resolutions.
- Support endpoint security, backups, and patch management in client environments.
- Collaborate with the support team to improve workflows and deliver exceptional service.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Diploma or certificate in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a client-facing or MSP environment.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic Active Directory functions.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, routing, etc.).
- Proficiency with endpoint troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar systems is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to travel to client sites when required.
