**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
We are currently looking for a team leader for our quality control department. With your expertise in the manufacturing world, you will be a central part of the quality team and will support them in achieving their goals. Reporting to the Quality & Methods Supervisor, the Quality Team Leader's primary mandate will be to coordinate and plan the activities of his/her team.

In summary, here's how you'll be spending your time:

- Coordinate and plan the deliverables of the quality team
- Replace the QC agents of the final inspection and the laboratory when needed for vacations
- Support the production teams and other departments
- Evaluate and analyze inspection and test results and their trends by specifying their degree of compliance, with the ultimate goal of preventing non-conformances
- Document and follow up on internal and external corrective action requests
- Plan and follow up on equipment calibration
- Be responsible for the follow-up of processes, procedures and work instructions (ISO9001)
- Assist the continuous improvement team in resolving quality issues
- Initiate continuous improvement actions
- Document and communicate effectively in the plant the actions of the Quality department in progress
- Measure, analyze, decide, document and communicate the results of inspections and tests performed

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- DEC in mechanical engineering or related field, combined with 5 years of experience
- Two (2) years of team management experience preferred
- Must be eligible for the Controlled Goods Program
- Must be flexible with work schedules (evening and night shifts possible)
- Ability to manage special product batches in a manufacturing environment
- Have a good understanding and ability to develop processes and procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment and have good influencing skills
- Functional bilingualism both written and spoken (French/English)
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, Visio and a manufacturing system
- Knowledge of the ISO9001-2015 standard (and APQP elements an asset)
