**Summary of Duties** ROLE**:Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Neighbourhood and Community-Wide Services, is responsible for providing a Leadership role and assigning tasks for other workers, providing customer service, completing administrative functions, facility maintenance, cleaning and disinfecting of centre, and cash handling.

**Work Performed**
- Opening and closing of the community centre when required.
- Supervising all activities at the Community Centre to ensure the safety and security of employees and participants.
- Provide work direction to Building Attendants and Program Instructors as needed.
- Ensuring all policies and protocols relating to customer service and program delivery are followed.
- Ensuring equipment and supply inventory is up to date and in good condition.
- Ensuring all signage is posted as instructed throughout the building.
- Perform customer service functions such as providing information and answering telephone inquiries.
- Cash handling / balancing (where applicable).
- Utilize the computer to access bookings through Facility Inquiries, program information through Perfect Mind and Service London.
- Carry out and document the cleaning and disinfection of the centre including duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning washrooms and glass as per City of London Cleaning Protocols.
- Assist with set-up/take down as needed.
- Assist with Building Attendant tasks as required.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Police Information Check (PIC) required prior to employment.
- Standard First Aid & CPR C certification required prior to commencement of employment.
- CSA approved steel toed shoes required.
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- Minimum ages may apply.

**Compensation and Other Information** HOURS OF WORK**:Please note that this is a casual part time position.

**WAGES**:$16.25 hourly to start.
