**The Summer Analyst Program, in short**:

- One week of product, professional development, Culture & Conduct training, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events;

- This program will provide business acumen to prepare for future opportunities and develop into future leaders. While Analysts will undertake important project and tasks within their teams, they will develop on-the-job skills they will carry through their career, while also uncovering their passion for specific roles and responsibilities and obtaining specified training. During the program, they will collaborate and interact with a wide variety of people within SG, not just in DFIN, building relationships and a network of connections. They will be paired with buddies and mentors in the program who will help make them feel prepared to tackle an exciting career at SG.

**Description**:
**Which team you could be part of**:
The Finance department of Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) is a global organization with local presence. Our core mission in the Americas involves delivering sound financial reports, effective challenge to business plans, and good advice on efficient use of our capital, liquidity, and funding resources. The Finance department performs independent certification of all financial aggregates and creates the daily P&L explanation on market activities. In addition, teams also oversee and execute cross-business projects in the financial and regulatory areas of the industry by providing expertise on accounting, prudential and tax norms while ensuring compliance of these norms are some of the responsibilities within our robust teams.

**Responsibilities**:
**Projects include, but are not limited to**:

- Collecting accounting information (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) of the US entities of the Group;
- Analysis of results;
- Participation in the monthly production of financial statements;
- Production of revenue, liquidity and accounting quality reports
- Follow-up on internal client requests;
- Production of recommendations and solutions or assistance in decision making.
