Property Maintenance Manager

Property Manager duties include but are not limited to:
**OVERSEE ASSIGNED PROPERTIES BETWEEN WHITBY AND PORT HOPE**
- Collects rent from tenants.
- Delivers renewal letters and eviction notices.
- Inspects vacant units and prepares them for rental.
- Takes packing and delivery slips to the building manager.
- Responds to tenant requests for repairs and use property management software to track ( Buildium )
- Keeps building grounds and common areas clean and in safe condition.
- Ensures that garbage and recycled items are placed for pick up at the appropriate times and in the proper manner.
- Keeps entrances, walkways, and stairways clear of ice, snow, and debris.
- Maintains fresh paint on the interior and exterior of the building.
- Conducts regular preventative maintenance on items throughout the interior and exterior of the building.
- Performs regular inspections of all common areas.
- Responds to emergency calls.
- Coordinates with contractors or repair crews for work that is outsourced.
- Keep noise levels to a minimum.
- Discusses rental violations with tenants with the goal of resolution.
- Supervises the work of unskilled laborers.
- Wears the proper safety equipment in the appropriate situations including hard hats, eye and ear protection, safety shoes, gloves, face mask, and respirator

**Requirements**:

- Has atleast a minor knowledge Electrical and Plumbing
- Proven experience in property management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Has G license with clean drivers abstract

**Salary**: $47,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

**Experience**:

- property management: 2 years (preferred)
