Together, we provide high quality care, with great heart, to vulnerable populations in the communities we serve. This includes seniors, families, new parents, newborn babies, people with physical and mental disabilities, children with medically complex needs, and the terminally ill. We provide service 24 hours a day, seven days a week to clients in their homes, in schools, in retirement homes and other locations in the community.

**We are currently seeking a: EMR Support Specialist**

**Full-time 1 year contract**

**Hybrid position - **3-4 days a week work from home, with at least 1-2 days a week in the office**

**Start Date: ASAP**
- Support end users, and other stakeholders, by answering EMR technical and process questions.
- Manage the EMR Support Application including set-up, trend analysis, reporting issues and providing solutions.
- Contribute to the EMR software product development cycle by developing mock-ups, collecting user feedback, submitting development tickets and answering questions, QA testing, collect user acceptance feedback.
- Identify and develop training and reference material to effectively support end users.
- Support the EMR initiative as identified in the EMR Communication Plan.
- Deliver and support change management (incl. training, communication, evaluation) activities to support the roll-out and sustainability of VHA’s EMR.
- Assist and deliver other project deliverables/tasks as required by the EMR and IT teams.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with supporting IT project implementations.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with experience working under pressure with precision and accuracy.
- Strong planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; a willingness to learn new skills and take directions from other team members; the ability to organize information and manage time effectively.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to client and family centered care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
