**The Associate will work as part of a three person deal team. Together they will manage a portfolio of diverse Commercial clients with significant borrowing needs. As well as helping to provide great service to our clients, the Associate facilitates monitoring and analysis of financial information to manage credit risk, **in compliance with Bank Policies & Procedures.**:

- ** Applies knowledge of bank products, processes and systems to effectively trouble-shoot client issues, ensuring a high-quality client experience. Serves as a client point of contact to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.**:

- ** Oversees ongoing monitoring of client performance through accurate and timely margin and covenant reporting, with appropriate escalation as required, in accordance with Bank policies.**:

- ** Manages BMO’s risk exposure by adhering to internal credit policies and procedures with respect to credit risk.**:

- ** Helps to identify cross-selling initiatives to increase penetration with client.**:

- ** Assists on preparing pitches to prospective clients with efforts to maximize penetration and returns.**:

- ** Supports implementation of operational programs.**:

- ** Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.**:

- ** Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.**:

- ** Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.**:
**Qualifications**:

- ** Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.**:

- ** Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.**:
