Technical Training Manager

**Key position functions include**:
- Manage ongoing development and revising of a comprehensive training program for service technician employees and customers to ensure a high level of quality and professionalism.
- Deliver and support the required training to personnel in Canada, USA, and Latin America. (Classroom oriented training but not exclusive to, can include the use of online platforms for meetings)
- Support the training activities of new and existing field service personnel on the operation and field maintenance of existing product lines and other related equipment to ensure a high level of competency.
- Maintain training resources library, including a directory of electronic and hard copies of all training modules, tests, power points, cutaways, posters, and other pertinent information.
- Participate in the development of new training tools and programs.
- Establish an annual training and travel schedule.
- Provide management with updates on training sessions and quarterly progress reports.
- Ensure that training meets product line requirements (competency based) so that trainees are trained in qualified and correct procedures, policies and practices in the field and shop.
- Evaluate trainees, trainers and generate training reports. Perform system audits and identify corrective actions to address training deficiencies.
- Develop and manage technical training budgets and provide recommendations on additional expenditures.
- Perform product demonstrations for customers.
- Other duties as required.
- Minimum 10 years comprehensive industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of delivering classroom training or technical/sales presentations in a boardroom setting.
- Models the Stream-Flo core values and guiding principles.
- Related post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated, good organizational abilities, and able to work independently.
- Strong customer service skills. (internal and external)
- Valid driver’s license, must be able to provide a current driver’s abstract
- Willingness to travel
In order to meet customer site access safety requirements, applicants must participate in an alcohol and drug test and show compliance with Stream-Flo’s Alcohol and Drug Policy before being considered eligible for hire.
