**Job Description**:
In your new role as our **Camp 1st Cook/Attendant **you will run a small rail camp located near Ft. St. John, BC. This camp houses 5 - 15 staff for our client.

You will prepare meals, box lunches and dinner for the crew as well as snacks. Your day typically starts at 5 am where you prepare breakfast and lunches to leave with the crew. Once the crew departs you are on your own at site where you will follow up with any housekeeping duties that are required.

The role does require some flexibility as you will be required to cook meals for teams that arrive early or late. You are paid hourly from the first meal cooked until the last person of the day has been served.

You will have your own trailer at site as well as laundry facilities. You will have access to internet, Wi-Fi and satellite phone. There is daily check in calls/text with management.

This rotation works with another cross shift of 30 days. This is a very unique opportunity supporting our client in a very beautiful part of British Columbia.

**Qualifications**:

- Red seal certified is a very strong asset
- Food safety/Food handling certificate
- Strong safety culture and experience
- Previous camp cooking experience
- Housekeeping experience
- Ability to work away from home on rotation for 30 days in/30 days out
- Excellent customer service
