**EXPERIENCED HOST: CONSTANTINE**

We are located on the ground floor of The Anndore House Hotel at 15 Charles St. East, just a couple blocks south of Yonge and Bloor. We have a large and dynamic space with two patios, a beautiful and modern open kitchen, private event space, and sleek lounge. This is a space unlike most restaurants in the city, housed in a gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Toronto.

Cooking at Constantine means **cooking with live fire**, using the most fresh, local, and sustainable product possible, and being a part of a team where your creative input is welcome and encouraged.

**We are hoping to find an experienced host with daytime availability on weekends and nighttime availability throughout the week.**

**Your Presence on the Floor**:
You manage the ebb and flow of guests coming and leaving with a sense of both calm and urgency, remembering that you are often both the first and last person people see when they come to dine with us.

You are constantly finding ways to arrange and rearrange the book to maximize seating capacity and smoother services.

You ideally have experience with Open Table, working as an Anchor, confidently setting up the floorplan for the day and even looking ahead beyond your shift to set your colleagues up for success in the week to come.

You keep communications open with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain proper guest flow and service standards throughout the restaurant.

You understand the neighbourhood of which we are a part and are able to convey that to visitors new to Toronto or the area.

You love food

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar is an asset
- SmartServe Certified
- Experience with OpenTable is an asset
- Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take direction and prioritize
- Strong oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
