**iGuard360 Security is looking for Retail Construction Overnight Security Guards (RCO) with their own vehicle to join our team in the Ottawa area**. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, a keen eye for security, and a dedication to ensuring safety on retail construction sites overnight.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide security coverage for retail construction sites, ensuring the protection of the property, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct regular, thorough patrols of the site and surrounding areas to identify and address potential security threats.
- Maintain a visible security presence, deterring theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Respond to any trespassers or disturbances promptly and effectively.
- Secure all access points and ensure proper locking of gates, doors, and equipment after hours.
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports, documenting any security breaches, hazards, or incidents.
- Respond to emergency situations, coordinating with local authorities and the construction team if necessary.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the site remains safe and secure overnight.

**Requirements**:

- Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Reliable **vehicle** is **required** to travel between various sites **(mileage reimbursement may apply)**.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
- Physically capable of walking the site and conducting regular patrols.
- Ability to handle emergencies effectively and calmly.
