Site guards are often picked from exceptional standouts on our Special Events team or applicants to Secret Clearance positions Mobile Patrol (advancement opportunity) Stage Team (The famous "Black Shirt Team") Stage Security Guards are highly trained and experienced Security Guards that conduct crowd control operations, backstage & stage access control, and barricade security at music festivals and concerts. Stage Security guards are expected to ensure crowd hydration, limit risk of crowd-crush scenarios, monitor for safety issues in the crowd, and lifting patrons out of the crowd over stage barricades for medical or security purposes. The famous "Black Shirt Team" are well known in Ottawa and on social media for their professionalism, reactiveness, and safety-oriented mindset. Supervisor Team (Grey Shirts) (advancement opportunity) TOERSA Supervisors are usually selected through internal advancement opportunities. Supervisors with TOERSA are selected based on their leadership capabilities, knowledge and practice of the duties of care and legislative requirements surrounding the security industry, knowledge of supervisor responsibilities in a workplace, and their ability to assist guards in their duties.
