**A Food Server**, also known as a waiter or waitress, plays a key role in ensuring customers have a positive dining experience. Their main duties include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking food and drink orders, and serving meals and beverages promptly. They work closely with kitchen and bar staff to make sure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time. Food Servers also handle payments, answer questions about the menu, and address any concerns or complaints to keep customers satisfied.

**Food Servers** maintain cleanliness in the dining area by setting and clearing tables, as well as keeping the environment orderly and welcoming. They may also suggest menu items or specials to enhance the guest experience and help upsell food and drinks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat customers warmly
- Present menus and answer questions about dishes
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently
- Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Handle payments and provide change or receipts
- Clean and reset tables promptly
- Work with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good memory for orders and menu details
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Previous experience preferred but not always required
