**Financial Analyst Policy Tax**:

Empire life is looking to hire a Financial Analyst Policy Tax to join our Financial Taxation team

**What you’ll be working on**- Review of daily reports and daily tasks relating to estate settlements and prepare monthly and annual reconciliations of tax accounts- Ensure the accurate completion of tax reporting for investor accounts and government filings in accordance with established procedures- Review and complete weekly and monthly remittances- Support the accurate completion of tax reporting- Preparing remittances to CRA and MRQ for Federal, Provincial and Non-Resident tax accounts- Participate in the yearly Fall and Mock testing- Support Year-end Tax by testing tax related system changes- Review and validate calculations of taxable gain on disposition and support other non-system activities- Investigate basic policyholder tax enquiries and respond appropriately within established service standards- Follow a fact-based customer service oriented approach to investigating and resolving service enquiries; escalate as deemed appropriate- Recommend changes to processes to deliver increased efficiency- Participate in creating and modifying P&Ps when needed for review and approval by Team Leads

**What we’re looking for you to have**:
- Sound knowledge of Empire Life products (i.e. insurance, financial services, investments and/or taxation)- Strong customer service experience is an asset- Completion of a college diploma with courses in finance, accounting, business administration and taxation- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills- Knowledge of CRA guidelines, taxation, individual life insurance and investment products- Working towards one of FLMI, ACS or AIAA- Knowledge of operational processes- Ability to conduct research, think logically, analyze and/or solve problems- Ability to handle confidential information- Ability to work independently and as a team member- Attention to detail/accuracy, organizational skills, strong communication skills- Proficiency with Empire Life E-Capsil, Ingenium, C-Capsil and Unitrax systems is an asset- Reconciliation skills an asset**Beyond the salary**:
