**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Winston's English Pub and Grill in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive high-quality service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages. Your ability to engage with guests and provide assistance will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

**Duties**
- Greet customers in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink options.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food handling and safety standards.
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Support food preparation as needed during busy shifts.

**Skills**
- Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive rapport with customers.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Experience in cash handling with attention to detail for accurate transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus for assisting kitchen staff when necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
