**Warehouse Supervisor - Order Fulfillment/Distribution - Immediate, Full Time, Permanent - Day Shift**

Link Product Solutions Limited is one of Canada's fastest growing and leading suppliers of Seasonal, Stationery and General Merchandise products to independent and major retailers in the Caribbean, North, Central, and South America. We offer over 10,000 products to retailers in many retail sectors. Located in Vaughan, Ont. we operate out of a 150,000 sq. ft distribution and showroom facility with offsite satellite warehouses to service our retailers' efficiently.

Currently, we are recruiting an experienced, full time, permanent and hands on Warehouse Order Fulfillment Supervisor for our Distribution Center located in Vaughan, Ontario.

**Summary of Role**: The Supervisor will supervise the day operations of the Warehouse with 20 employees which includes Forklift Operators, Order Pickers, General Warehouse employees and temporary workers. The individual must be an experienced, hands-on leader with a take charge attitude, health and safety including previous operational knowledge in the distribution of consumer products worldwide.

**Days/Hours: Monday - Friday - 7.00 a.m. - 3.45 p.m.**

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise and manage all aspects of the daily day operations of the warehouse, including distribution of tasks to forklift operators, order pickers, shipping, receiving, put away, transfers /restocking, Inventory Control and regular cycle counting employees.
- Plans and assigns daily tasks consistent with established schedules to ensure on time delivery of products; monitors operational needs and re-prioritizes tasks
- Improves efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the operations including monitoring, coaching and developing employees
- Responsible for the training of new employees and temporary agency staff
- Directs activities with appropriate guidance and instructions to employees; clearly communicates expectations, goals and targets; monitors quality of work through observations and employee re-training
- Provides regular feedback to employee on performance; counseling of employees and temporary workers; coaching on best practices
- Enforces company policies and health and safety regulations to ensure an efficient, effective, and safe operations
- Takes action to correct any unsafe condition and recommend necessary changes; conducts investigations, provides documentation and completes reports following an incident; ensures and enforces the proper use of personal protective equipment
- Recommending improved systems and cost reduction
- Maintain and operate an efficient, clean, orderly, organized facility in accordance with company and health and safety standards
- Reporting of daily operations productivity
- Investigate and responds to employee inquires
- Work with the afternoon shift supervisor/team leaders to improve flow of operations and distribution
- Conducts daily shift meetings to ensure employees are updated on daily tasks assignment, health and safety, departmental and company issues
- Address customer service issues
- Performs other related warehouse duties

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 5+ years’ recent supervisory experience in a busy distribution environment
- First Aid/Management Joint Health & Safety certification an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including excel
- Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, written and verbal communications skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and RF technology
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate employees
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Pro-active approach to customer service and building strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
