**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and qualify leads.
- Meet with clients to discuss project scope, budget, and timelines.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Source supplier and subcontractor pricing to support competitive quotes.
- Present proposals and quotes clearly and professionally to clients.
- Follow up on all quotes within set timeframes to maximize conversion rates.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms while maintaining profitability targets.
- Ensure all quotes are tracked in the job management system (e.g. Buildertrend, Procore, or equivalent).
- Liaise with project managers and supervisors to ensure accurate handover of scope, pricing, and inclusions.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for reliable pricing and availability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and local pricing to ensure competitiveness.
- Support marketing and business development activities when required.
- Keep accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and outcomes.
- Represent the company professionally at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Work with the team to continuously improve estimating and sales processes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software, particularly Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in estimates.

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
