Please don't hesitate to apply. **Responsibilities;** - Ready the construction site each day for the current project by preparing materials, tools, and equipment. - Wear clean safety equipment, such as ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, helmets, and boots that are in good repair. - Must have own set of general tools (hammer, level, 1/4" hex driver, square, etc.) required to perform work. - Comply with health and safety regulations when operating equipment or walking on the job site. - Maintain a brisk and productive pace of activities to complete all assigned tasks within time constraint. - Leave construction equipment and tools clean, organized, and stored in an orderly fashion after each use. - Dispose of debris and hazardous materials according to local environmental standards and regulations. - Provide assistance to other team members on various tasks if your duties are completed ahead of schedule. - Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment. - Assisting contractors, e.g. electricians and painters, as required. - Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment. - Following all health and safety regulations. - Mixing, pouring, and levelling concrete. - All other activities as requested by the site foreman. **Qualifications;** - Familiarity with hand tools such as power drills, hammers, saws, etc. - Able to work at least 8 hours a day. - Good English oral comprehension skills to follow verbal instructions and respond to questions about job tasks. - Steady hands and ability to balance well even on scaffolding, etc. - General knowledge of construction operations and procedures. - Ability to work well with a team of subcontractors and supervisors. - Willingness to undertake training if requested. - Be mild-tempered and a team player. - Be healthy, strong, and fit. - Must have reliable method of transportation to and from sites. Must be able to consistently show up on time. - Previous working experience in the construction industry. **Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance **Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Paid time off Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: Applicant must be able to show proof of being fully vaccinated in order to be employed.
