You will be working in a team-based environment to support physicians in delivering excellent patient care. If you love helping people, this job is for you. **Key responsibilities**: - ** Administrative duties** - answer calls and greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals, result management and handle billing. - ** Lab Duties -** include collecting and preparing laboratory specimens or perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments. - ** Patient Care dutie**s - Coordinate patient care through the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, preparing exam or treatment rooms, answering questions, providing post-appointment service, and monitoring the waiting room. - ** General duties** - Ensure to keep patient information confidential and secure at all times. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management. **Requirements**: - High school diploma or the equivalent - Exceptional customer service skills - A Team Player - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Attention to detail and ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work. - Ability to work independently as well as with a team. - Ability to analyze, problem solve and take initiative. - Open and accountable - Ability to work varying shift patterns as needed by the clinic (including evenings and weekends) - Experience as a MOA or MOA programs certification is an asset. - Experience with EMR system OSCAR and a good understanding of MSP billing are assets.
