In full expansion, RAWESOME's mission is to offer gourmet vegan products made only with real and nutritious ingredients, inspiring a healthy, rich and tasty cuisine, offering decadent guiltless desserts, making accessible plant-based foods to the greatest number of people and thus contributing to a more healthy world.
We are looking for a motivated person to fill the position of CHIEF packer + producer, with experience in production in the food industry.
Full time 30-40 hours per week, in the cute neighborhood of Villeray.
Salary starts at $25 per hour, with opportunity for advancement.
**Task Description**:
- In charge of packing station for Rawesome products, including raw cakes, vegan cream cheeses and banana + hemp ice cream;
- In charge of packing team;
- Operation of packaging and production machines;
- Cutting cakes, filling containers of cashew cream cheese using a funnel machine (“filler”), sealing containers, etc.;
- Assist in the daily tasks of preparing Rawesome products;
- Ensure the cleanliness of workspaces and machinery;
- Quality control of the products to be packaged;
- Assist in the production of cakes;
- Maintain personal hygiene and follow good hygiene and sanitation practices in a food production and food handling environment;
- Back and forth in the frozen section for placement of finished products;
- Washing and storage of dishes, bins, production tools, etc.;
- Asset: certificate in food hygiene and safety from MAPAQ;
- Asset: passionate about vegan food.
Eventually in charge of the production of Rawesome cheeses / cakes / nice cream.
