About The Role:
Bosa Properties is looking for a Corporate Accounting Intern to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting to the Controller, Corporate Accounting, this individual will have a unique opportunity to gain experience in various areas of the department while working with seasoned professionals on high-profile projects. The corporate accounting team works to provide timely and meaningful financial insights to enable the business to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.

**What You'll Do**
- Prepare monthly journal entries to support monthly close activities;
- Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger, including preparation of monthly reconciliations and perform month-end closing procedures;
- Assist the team with documentation of procedures;
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate recording of transactions;
- Assist the team in the preparation of financial reports;
- Maintenance of records in collaborative workspaces;
- Additional tasks may be assigned based on capacity and aptitude.

What You Bring:

- Three (3) years of post-secondary education in Business, Accounting or Finance;
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and tasks in an efficient and effective manner;
- Exemplary attention to detail;
- Demonstrated ability to listen intently and work collaboratively, building strong relationships across the organization;
- Prior internship experience within finance or accounting would be considered a strong asset;
- Familiarity with or exposure to accounting systems from a previous internship, especially Yardi would be considered a strong asset.

**Salary**

$48,000-$53,000 annual base salary
