**About the Role**
Based out of our **Value Buds **location in **London, ON, **we are looking for an experienced **Supervisor** who can handle curveballs like a champ. Not only will they be responsible for ensuring the store is in tip-top shape, but they’ll also become masters in everything cannabis and will be eager to share their new knowledge with our awesome customers. We’re looking for go-getters who love to meet new people and cultivate relationships and are excited to learn more about this up and coming industry.
**Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
**Customer Offering**
- Deliver exemplary customer service
- Greet customers when they enter the store and take customer to product when required
- Generate sales by educating, advising and suggesting products to every customer
- Maintain a high level of service and product knowledge
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service in absence of management; ensure management is informed of all customer complaints
- Accountable for product rollouts and product launches in partnership with management
- Understand and utilize local market tends in partnership with management
- Evaluate programs and promotions for effectiveness and offer recommendations to management
- Assist customer from store and/or offer car service when appropriate
- Create a culture that has a passion for Cannabis
**Day to Day Operations**
- Meet or exceed department financial targets through partnership with management
- Ensure location follows merchandising and pricing guidelines
- Assist in all operational duties in partnership with management
- Ensure store is presentable and relay any maintenance issues to management
- Manage ordering and receiving in partnership with management
- Actively aim to increase and share product knowledge
- Maintain inventory levels in partnership with management
- Attend OHS, LP meetings and training sessions as required
- Stock shelves and cooler with product
- Set daily tasks for the store in absence of management
- Review flyers, upcoming event and promotions; execute appropriately
- Participate in routine store maintenance and cleaning
- Stay up to with industry legislation, trends and new products Other tasks as assigned
**Regulatory Adherence**
- Ensure that OHS, LP, SellSafe, Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW) and other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered to
- Maintain First-Aid, LP and OHS Training
- Maintain SellSafe and Qualified Cannabis Worker (QCW) Certification
- Ensure AGLC/BC LRS/AK ABC Board and other government guidelines are met
- Adheres to all Nova policies, with a focus on Social Responsibility
**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum, 1-year supervisor experience (preferred)
- Minimum, 2-years of customer service experience
- Minimum, 2-years of retail and/or hospitality experience
- Cannabis, liquor or healthcare experience is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid CannSell certification
- First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset
- Must complete and pass a Criminal Record Check
- Working knowledge of regulations as it pertains to selling cannabis in Ontario

- Excellent customer service skills; you have a positive attitude, are charismatic, and are very comfortable engaging with customers
- Ability to think on your feet and creatively problem solve
- Open-minded and constantly identifying ways to improve
- Passionate about creating a positive, memorable, and tailored experience for every customer
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a professional demeanour
- Team player who is passionate about supporting the overall success of the business
- Uphold ethics, confidentiality, and demonstrate a high level of discretion at all times
- Responsible and reliable
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to/from work
