Bilingual Technical Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced bilingual English / French technical specialist with great communications skills to interact with our customers both in person and online, enabling the effective use of our solution.
As a member of the sales team, you will participate in presales activities, provide support to the sales team, and assist in writing proposals to ensure that our solutions are correctly specified.
Must be able to travel within Canada and US.

**Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Interact with customers both in person and online to ensure they are able to use our solution
- Clearly communicate account setup requirements and expectations with customers and key stakeholders
- Travel to customer businesses and assist in product installation of our telematics device into vehicles
- Input Fleet data into our platform
- Provide consistent reporting and escalate any issues
- Develop and maintain expertise on all products, systems and processes
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales, department to improve customer experience and drive sales
- Participate in pre sale activities and support the sales team to ensure the product is being represented correctly
- Assist in writing proposals to ensure the solution is explained properly
**Job Requirements**:
- Possess a solid working knowledge of automotive mechanics
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in engineering, heavy equipment, or automotive technician specialization
- 2-4 years of experience in customer service, sales, heavy-duty maintenance, or related field
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Team player and willing to help others when required
- Able to work with diverse personalities and style
- Strong organizational/time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
- Be passionate about what you do - take ownership of the customer interaction to ensure success
- Must be able to travel 25 % of the time within Canada, USA, and South America.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
