Interior Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient and self -directed permanent full time Program Coordinator, Simulation Centre to support the Clinical Operations South department.

**What will you work on?**
The Program Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively to support program strategic, project, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Simulation Program across IH. Responsibilities include: coordinating and organizing workflow; determining priorities; composing confidential correspondence for signature; designing and creating correspondence, documents, presentations, training packages, and spreadsheets (including data entry) for authorization by the Simulation team.
The Program Coordinator supports the development and implementation of health simulation technologies and activities across Interior Health. The Program Coordinator fosters partnerships and productive working relationships with the UBC Faculty of Medicine plus other parties involved in health simulation activities. The Program Coordinator serves as a vital linkage and communication source to keep the program informed and aligned with key improvement priorities. This role assists with the intake and coordination of simulation events.

Education, Training, and Experience:
- Diploma or degree in a related field.
- Three to five years of recent related experience; knowledge of clinical simulation an asset
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid BC Driver’s Licence.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates ability to know own limitations and effectively ask for help.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business and academic partners to develop and foster working relationships at all levels, including strategic relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including development of reports, proposals, and training plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to be flexible and comfortable about working in ambiguous environments and be invigorated by change.
- Ability to organize and set work priorities to balance multiple activities concurrently.
- Good understanding of current health care, clinical and medical education, and health simulation issues.
- Ability to provide effective promotion, marketing, and linkages with foundations/equivalent for fundraising activities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology an asset.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
