Business Center Administrator- Ottawa

Purpose:
Ontario Medical Supply is currently seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to help support our Business Centre. Your main responsibilities will be ensuring smooth operation of our Business Centre functions, assisting on various projects when required, and assisting with facilities related issues. You are an integral part of our operations with members of each department and multiple sites relying on you for various things.
Job Title: Business Centre Administrator
Location: Ottawa, ON
Reports to: Pharmacy Operations Manager
No. of Positions: 1
Type: 6 month contract,full-time (M-F, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
**Salary**: $18/hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Handling/sorting of incoming/outgoing mail
- Coordinating interoffice mail and other packages
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring sufficient stock is on hand
- Printing/assembling of in-house print requests, maintaining sufficient copies of frequently used documents
- Maintaining filing systems and offsite file storage inventory,
- Providing help when needed on various projects for other employees
- Maintains contracts tracking sheet and files corporate documents (electronic and hard copies)
- Assists with facilities related issues/requests
- Responsible for daily upkeep and replenishment of coffee machines and ordering supplies
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Reliable and Responsible
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred with administrative procedures and office duties
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to life up to 50 lbs,
- Standing for long periods of time,
- Walking up and down stairs multiple times a day.
- Bilingual (E/F) an asset but not required
