Supports the development and collaboration of organisational, team and individual effectiveness in major project and programme teams. Delivers Organisation Development (OD) service deliverables for allocated projects and programmes, adapting to suit the scale and complexity.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Supports the bidding process, ensuring OD methodology is embedded into bid and mobilisation plans.
- Creates and prepares pre-mobilisation and mobilisation plans for the projects/programmes as required, in advance of contract award.
- Proactively builds relationships with project/programme senior leadership teams, to understand their challenges and concerns related to organisational effectiveness and/or team collaboration, working with them to guide and steer the agenda.
- Identifies and measures team performance maturity/organisational effectiveness maturity, sharing progress and concerns with the project leadership, creates action plans to maintain and increase maturity/effectiveness.
- Develops and adapts a programme of work for client organisation and/or programme team to support. maturity/effectiveness/collaborative behaviour, provides expert discipline advice and counsel.
- Builds the capability of leaders and their teams through coaching, facilitation and/or targeted organisational effectiveness improvement solutions.
- Manages and drives the programme of work, with external providers, to ensure targeted interventions with maximum impact.
- Works with leads and the internal communication resource for the project/programme (where they are in place) to ensure OD work aligns with project policies and is consistent with and embedded through communications.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

- Project management experience and expertise.
- Proven facilitation/presentation skills.
- Developed consulting skills.
- Problem-solving including systems-thinking.
- Understanding/experience of operating in large and complex programmes.
- Dependent on relevant focus (team coaching or organisational effectiveness the role will require one of:

- Executive coaching qualification (or equivalent).
- Facilitation skills/qualification.
- Experience working in large projects/programmes in the build environment.
- Presents and communicates effectively at all levels (up to C-suite), both written and verbal.
- Able to tailor approach to specific audiences internally and externally.
- Manages and influences key senior stakeholders.
- Builds and cultivates relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working to execute strategic programmes.
- Strong competence and proven ability in developing leadership, management capability and/or organisational effectiveness.
- Guides, directs, coordinates and upskills others on portfolio.

You’ll also have:

- Adept at presenting/facilitate in a coaching style.
- Familiarity and experience using P3M3 - the Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management Maturity Model.
- Chartered status in a technical or managerial field (or equivalent).
- Certified change practitioner eg PROSCI.
